What The Rally is About?

This is about a special event that stands out from a regular car show or meet for owners of our special interest and limited edition auto's. You will meet owners from all over United States and Canada owners that have the same pride in their Firehawk/Comp T/A as you do. You will see and learn from different members tips on performance, detailing, exchange idea's & experiences. You will not see a greater number of Firehawks and Comp T/A's gathered in one place than at the Rally.

The best part is that the Rally is in conjunction with the (Ames Performance Tri Power Pontiac Nationals) The Nationals show alone is great draw with over 700 Pontiacs in both the Show & Racefield. Its an all around event Car Show, Drag Racing, Swap Meet, Car Corral, Vendors Pontiac Motorsports and Pontiac Concept Cars. This gives our attendees a chance to win trophies from both the Pontiac Nationals and the Firehawk/Comp T/A Association. In other words you are attending two car shows at the same time. The only monies that you pay is to get in to this event is to the Ames Pontiac Tri-Power Performance Nationals part of the show. If you are not a member of the FAOA or CTAOA you are more than welcome to join us. But, to be eligible for the FAOA prizes and trophies you must be a member of the Firehawk Association and your membership dues be current

This year we will have an increase in trophies from the FAOA. We will see that years that have more cars than other years will have a better chance than in past years to win. For example, last year we gave two trophies for the year 1993 and we only had 3-4 cars in this class. For the year 2002 we had over 15 cars and only gave 2 trophies. For this year we will give at least 6 trophies for the 2002 model year. We will also have several new class’s such as lowest mileage, highest mileage, most modified, most stock, best paint & etc   We will also have a new voting system . Which will make the overall voting process more fair to all attendees

We have major prizes from leading vendors in the aftermarket automotive marketplace. All door prizes are awarded by the luck of the draw at random and the winner picks his/her prize so they are sure to get something they want. In past years most of our members went home with a prize from the FAOA/CTAOA. Chances of winning a prize or trophy form the FAOA/CTAOA are really great. We give out our show trophies for 1st. & 2nd. Place for each year the Firehawk was produce. 1st., 2nd., & 3rd. For the Comp T/A/s. A trophy for the member that drove his car the farthest to attend the Rally. We have a informal Firehawk/Comp T/A Dinner on Saturday evening. Last we had over 125 attending the dinner. There is a cutoff date in order to attend & purchase dinner tickets. The cutoff date is firm and no tickets will be sold at the Rally or Holiday Inn. Matt Bennett & Elizabeth Harris will once again be in charge of the after dinner cruise though Sandusky. Last year we had around 50 Firehawk 's / Comp T/A's join the cruise. For more info call us at 724-437-6736, 724-880-7745 or wayne@waynethomas.com - faoa@firehawk.org
