This year our Host hotel will be Americas Best Value at 5608 Milan Road in Sandusky. It is across the street from the old Holiday Inn where we stayed for several years. We were forced to find new accommodations as last year the Holiday Inn had changed to the Maui Sands, but did maintain the group rate. This year the room quote over doubled, and we were advised they could not handle our yearly dinner meeting as their banquet facility would not be open yet. Also, being sensitive to the comments from members last year, wishing for a less expensive hotel, we searched the area and found this hotel. We have a block of 50 rooms with a rate of $109 per night. Get your Rooms early!!! These rooms are on a first come first serve basis and are very limited. You MUST be a member of the Firehawk Association and have your dues current to get our special rate.

Bring your own hose as there will be a limited number of water taps. There is nothing like staying at the host hotel, and socializing with other members staying at the same hotel is great in itself (Its similar to a tailgate party after the daily event). This is the largest gathering of Firehawks in one place at one time in the World. Don't miss this event!!!
NOTE: The 14th Annual Wayne Thomas Firehawk/Comp T/A Rally Saturday Evening Dinner August 9th 2008 Will be held at the Quality Inn and Suites at 1935 Cleveland Road in Sandusky.
Our Group Rate for this hotel is $109.00 Per Night + Tax. This is a great rate for the Sandusky area during this time frame.
