The 15th Annual Wayne Thomas Firehawk/Comp T/A Rally Dinner for paid members and their guests, will be held this year on Saturday August 8th 2009 at The Great Wolf Lodge (our host hotel) in their Northwest Territory Room. This is located at 4600 Milan Road in Sandusky. It will be a buffet style dinner (all you can eat). Price includes salads, dinner, and dessert. While we have not finalized the meal as of this moment, the dinner will consist of 3 main courses including a beef dish, a chicken or turkey dish, and a pork or pasta dish along with tossed salad greens, pasta salad, a vegetable to be determined, potatoes, and macaroni and cheese or penne and marinara. Desert will consist of cherry cobbler
There will be a cash bar for members that would a like mixed drink or beer from 5:45 PM–7:00 PM. Dinner begins at 6:00 PM and after dinner there will be a quick general meeting, a few presentations, and Dave Hamburger is scheduled to speak to us about the G8 Firehawk and their future. It is sure to be interesting, and questions will be accepted. In the past years, most members cruised Sandusky after the dinner to show their pride off to some of the local cruisers. We will try to set this up again as a police led function, but we were advised last year that due to cuts, the motorcycles were gone and the force cut back. So we will do our best to set up an escorted ride but it could be that we will try to have a cruise without the police escort. Should this be the plan, maps will be available of our route in case the group gets broken up. The cruise should start between 8:00 and 8:30 PM
We must have payment for the dinners from the attendee's before 7-20-09. (Price for the dinner is as follows Adults $31.00, Children 11 years old & under is $20.00 each. No cancellations or refunds on the Dinner tickets after 7-20-09 The reason for this is we must advise the facility of our number and we will pay for that number regardless of if they all show up. If you attended past dinners you won't want to miss this one. Please respond ASAP as the payment cutoff date is very critical and can’t be changed!!!! The room seating is limited to 60 & I expect that all 60 of these seats will be taken this year. No Tickets will be sold at the Door or after the cutoff date so please act accordingly.
